i ‘live off my stock’ so to speak, i have taken two pics for the farktography contests..the backyard pic with my dog, and a pic with my finger over the lens

other than that every picture is from at least two years ago, 10 in many cases

i figure there’s at least a few others in the same position

what is the proper order? I would think order-by-votes, then -by-timestamp and finally -by-loginname (but that third ordering really would be rare).

That’s an idea I like. “Best Shot” contests and a second contest with the usual 3 entries per submitter.

The great thing about 3 submissions per contest is that it permits more experimentation. If a lower limit is established, only “safe” shots will be posted.

maybe its time to revisit the idea of limiting entries to 2. with 360+ posts a contest they are getting a little cumbersome to sort through.

i have an image that went down in flames in an earlier contest, now there is a more appropriate contest coming up…

Also, the alternate day of week contest sounds cool here, especially with the one entry limit.

Maybe even add another twist… like say the submitted pic must have been shot during the seven-day period immediately preceding the contest date.
