What you think you see may or may not be what’s really going on.

While that advice is definitely true, in my situation, at the race track, there was no way for him to have off-camera flash(es) set up.

I’ve never been questioned, just watched. Of course, I live in a city of relative unimportance……

I guess I could just invert them…….gravity defying pets.

that’s insane. a guess would be something akin to blog or a recurring link in a thread, obviously someplace flickr doesn’t recognize. sadly, you’ll probably never know.

i’m perplexed there weren’t more overall entries…..

but i do have a few shots that ultimately became textures, which i then used with another pic. for instance, a close up of rusty metal, adjusted, then stacked on a portrait and adjusted in layers.

i love my Canon 50mm f/1.8. it does focus slowly, but for less than $100 it’s been the best camera purchase.

good thing with being in the midwest: we see all of those. yup, even remnants of hurricane winds. bonus: we also get earthquakes/tremors.

They deserved it…though I prefered “Spotlight” over “Back.” I’m a huge fan of negative space, moodiness. Personally, I’d go for a different composition, but that’s just me.

I decided I haven’t been doing enough new stuff lately, and took two new ones this week. I got exactly the shot I wanted, catches the curve of her spine perfectly and everything. It’s got three votes. Such is life.

I based my voting this week on a simple criteria: would I see something like it in a gallery? Then I decided whether I liked it or not.
