Thanks for the reply, linguine. I’ll pass on the scientific explanation, I believe you 😀 .

As for the under/overexposure warnings, I’ll have to test it some more to see what the camera claims is an under/overexposed picture. I’ll set it to make the warning come up again and then take a shot, then compare it with corrected values.

I’m in the same boat looking for a good image management software. I’ve had Picasa for a few weeks, to give it an honest shot. I like how fast and smooth it is. My complaint though is that it insists on making dang folders and dividing them by the date of the file! In theory it’s a good idea, and there are some folders that I’m happy that it does…Read more

Well, I submitted my first two pictures!! They got a couple of votes each, so I’m pretty happy with that!

Both pictures just kind of “happened”. I’m sure everyone here knows what I mean by that. Isn’t it great when everything sets up so perfectly in the picture, that when you see it you can’t help but say “Wow. Nice pic” 😀

Hey folks,

I’ve been a lurker for a few months. I’ve really getting into digital photography as of late (I FINALLY got a tripod for Christmas so I’m taking more pics now). I’m starting to flex my creative muscle, so I’m not that good yet. But I would love to get in on the Farkamera project! 🙂
