Then I remembered the old Squatch sculpture from a fishing trip. (7 or 8 feet tall rusted, welded iron). The I had to round it out with a ghost. I really sort of like the UFO. Fun. 🙂</p>

<p>Nope. No filter at all. Just f/22. Really and seriously. The Riviera I shot last night. Using about a 2 minute exposure, I &#8216;painted&#8217; the front with 15-20 hand held flash shots and then I crouched behind it with a flash just peeking out and shooting back at the camera.</p>

The description has that bit about &#8216;the primary subject&#8217; and &#8216;detail and intimacy&#8217;. The example of the statue in foliage (which I really like) looks more like a subject in a setting than a landscape.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve been considering different B&amp;W software but don&#8217;t have anything special. This is just a contrasty Photoshop B&amp;W.<br />
The gold-sheen creepy kid was done (primarily) with Topaz Adjust.</p>
<p>Mopsy, orionid&#8217;s pic was done with a &#8216;mechanically&#8217; altered camera. There weren&#8217;t any unusual software manipulations.</p>
