									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Plama, I have the 35mm ?1.8, and it is a very clean, sharp lens, but Sleeping is quite right about the equivalent value. Clearly your 18-105 is wider, but Nikon has never packed a kit with a &#8220;fantastic&#8221; lens. I feel like I&#8217;m a victim of unrequited &#8220;lens envy&#8221;, as my budget doesn&#8217;t allow for either a full frame camera, or a wide lens below 18mm.</p>

As I was re-reading Orionid&#8217;s last post I realized that some portion of F&#8217;tographers must be using film, in fact I&#8217;m sure I&#8217;ve seen comments referring to using archived film prints. Are these entrants required to identify their entries as such? Can hairs be split that many ways?</p>

It would seem a shame to turn away from their explorations on a technicality. Also, that whole &#8220;Macro&#8221; thing looks promising, even outside the parameters of a dedicated contest.</p>
