<p>A better bet is instead of doing an invisible watermark, do a very visible one. Include a copyright notice in the corner of your image. <p>If you have complete access (i.e. close friends with the band) I recommend using off-camera flash to augment the ambient lighting. I say off-camera because on-camera flash looks awful. Even Canon&#8217;s consumer zooms nowadays are easily beating their top of the line primes from days back so I&#8217;m not really as concerned about optical quality. Pretty much any lens you buy in this day and age will look good for you. But not having an f/2.8 or wider max aperture is gonna hurt.</p>

I&#8217;ve done tests with faster and slower cards and the major limiting factor is the camera&#8217;s ability to shove data on to the card, not the write speed of the card. I think I tested my 30D at about 9 MB/sec.</p>

My 10-22 is definitely my favorite lens, the only times I don&#8217;t use it are when I&#8217;m physically unable to get close enough to get the framing I want. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you tend to run your aperture wide open you will have very few problems with dust because the dust will be out of focus. At smaller apertures, especially toward f/16, the depth of field is smaller and dust comes into focus. You might be surprised at how much dust shows up if you stop down to f/16 and shoot a blank wall.</p>

I can rent a generator to power three of them for about $30 for 4 hours, or $45 for the day.</p>
