It’s Farktography’s 9th anniversary! We’re celebrating late this year, so post your highest vote getters or favorite photos since May 2013. Prior contest entries allowed but not required; prior entries, HDR, stacked, stitched & text-added photos eligible only if used in a contest since 5/08/13.
I’m having problems with flickr. When I go to share a picture via html it will only give me a tiny square, 75×75 . I can’t find a help section there. Am I going blind?
If you’re using IE 10 or newer, press F12. When the debug menu comes up at the bottom, click on “Browser Mode” and select “Internet Explorer 9.” After that, in the same tab, refresh your page. This forces flickr into running the old-style menus with buttons that actually work where you can select your share method and filesize from logical drop-down menus.

Thanks orionid, I use Firefox and got around the problem by moving the picture to photobucket.

Awesome, although be careful with photobucket. A lot of corporate networks block photos hosted there (including my employer and every military base I’ve been on) for whatever reason, so you may be potentially losing votes when people scroll right past that little red x.

Shouldn’t be a problem anymore now that Fark rehosts all images under its own domain. Fark will fetch once from photobucket and then rewrite the image source to point to its cached version so every entry looks like it’s hosted on Fark. To verify, if you think about it and get a chance, try viewing katrinka’s entries from this contest at work and report what you see…
