I have the 1.4x Canon Extender. I typically connect it to my f4 70-200mm (Slowpoke’s lens’ baby brother). I’m completely happy with it, but I haven’t done any sort of controlled resolution/color tests.
I shied away from the 2x since I’d heard about image degradation with that one.
