Diffraction. Just googled it. Varied subject. Would water-wave diffraction count? How about a laser through a prism. That wouldn’t give a rainbow, but the light is at least changed in direction. Or would that be refraction? Does it matter? Are we just looking for cool light-physics-pretty-geeky things or is it just Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo Violet?
