It’s that time of year again: Give us your best Hallowe’en photos.
From Fark:
Wednesday Oct 31 4:40 pm ET: I’m going to avoid trick-or-treaters by doing some hardware maintenance on the database server tonight (adding more hard drives). During the installation, the Fark main page will work, but will stop updating; comments and link submission will not work, and Totalfark will not work. I expect this to happen around 7 pm ET and should last about an hour, maybe two. There’ll be another similar outage this Saturday (during the Daylight Time switchover) to finish up.
I was just about to post about that, Snug Tight. I’m thinking I might just get up later to post, to give myself the two hour buffer. Since we have gone back to winter time already, it just means I get up at the same time as normal if I do that anyway! 😀
Here’s hoping it doesn’t cause us too much bother though!
I got nothing, so I’m not going to play this week. Just couldn’t get motivated.
I have about a 4% chance of actually participating this week. If not, I will see you all next week with a renewed sense of urgency and a genuine desire to be a regular part of this community.

Yeah I just got home and saw the outage thing. Hopefully things will be wrapped up by 8 or 9. I was expecting to be late tonight, but of course, since Fark might be down, I got home earlier than expected. Yay Murphy’s Law 😆
