ParticipantIf you have total fark, leeday, you can post at 8pm eastern (on fark.com, there will be a ‘farktography’ themed post). If you don’t have total fark, then you have to wait until midnight eastern when the thread goes public. There are icons in the comment that should help you post your images (pretty standard ones), but your image needs to be hosted on a site such as flickr or your own hosting site to link into it. One of the mods can provide more detailed instructions.
Hope to see your pictures there!!

ParticipantHi and welcome Leeday.
No, you don’t post them here (although if you have ones not used for the contest then please feel free to link them here)
Go here to post them (if you have TotalFark membership, otherwise you will have to wait four hours to post them)

Hey, leedav, welcome!
I was just typing a response, but it seems that swampa and rav have beat me to it. The only thing I’d add is that you can find a list of FAQs about the contest here: http://www.fark.com/farq/farktography/.

ParticipantI can’t decide on number 3. I have a pretty panorama snow scene or a zany three part, stitched together one showing my youngest granddaughter taking part in battling tops on a saucer sled last Christmas. I want to go with the second one but do not see anything like it so far.

Eiffel Tower during the day
(I was tempted to enter this and the night time version to see if people liked one over the other but my love of night shots won out)November 15, 2012 at 1:32 am #49290CauseISaidSo

Not yet, that is the next step – I have both the day and night images in the one photoshop file, I just need to get them both aligned so I can turn layers on and off as it pleases me.
/Also have a second night top of the tower where it is clouded in so I can use that too 😀

KeymasterMan, I wanted to do a mixed night/day shot, but I don’t know if mine will work or not. Computer is crunching….crunching…crunching…

Hope it works out; I’d like to see that.
One of my ideas for this theme was one of those “time slices” where multiple shots of the same scene are taken over the course of a day and then a slice of each is stiched together. But my wife had surgery Monday and between that and other business-related stuff I didn’t get a chance to shoot anything new. I think I’ve got a couple of possibilities in the archives. I’ll know shortly…
swampa, when you get your night/day shots mixed to your satisfaction, please post!
