Self portraiture.
Through a process of deep introspection, orionid brought forth this theme. And it was good.
I really thought this would be an easy theme to bring the casuals in. My bad. Maybe (hopefully) it’s just because everyone’s out enjoying the gorgeous spring weather.
I did too. I mean, who doesn’t have a selfie or 20 kicking around in their archives or on FB? Of course, casuals could filter in through the day…
Hm…maybe the average Farker is too self-conscious to show themselves? Obviously self-portraiture doesn’t have to show one’s face, as we have examples in the thread of self-portraiture that doesn’t. Hm..I don’t know…

*raises hand* Me. My last entry is literally the only selfie I’ve ever taken (and it’s from 9 yrs ago). I only took that one to rub my friend’s nose in the fact that I was skiing and he wasn’t.
It may be that some don’t want their real selves associated with their online personas. Breaks the anonymity I guess.
Anyway, just popping in briefly to say “hi” to everyone. I’m still snowed under with work for another few weeks but had a couple of minutes and a theme that made selections quick and easy, so I thought I’d join the fun this week. And now, back to the code mines…
