Okay, so here’s one of the pictures I want to submit for the Orange contest…
Are little girl nipples a problem? You see ’em in the park any hot summer day… It seems stupid to me that there would be a problem with it, but I’d rather know in advance if I’m going to have the picture yanked come contest day.
Do you REALLY want a picture of your children naked on the internet?
This contest is meaningless, dont let your kid be porn for a Pedo.
The nipples aren’t a problem, but like Killerclaw, I’m more concerned that she’s naked in general. Even though you can’t see anything, I’d just be nervous to see that in the thread. We’ve had someone post a really sweet pic of their daughter and wife together where the daughter was naked, but like your picture you couldn’t see anything specific. We still got some creepy folks in the thread commenting about the picture even though it was a completely non-dirty image. I hate that there are people like that out there, but I really don’t think that’s an image you want on Fark.

the original picture would have fed the pedos… this one, well sometimes in life there are things you just can’t worry about without wasting your life worrying.

sadness. I can’t. The child has grown, the props have flown…. And that expression is priceless. Well maybe I won’t post it after all. So very sad.

I think it would probably fall into the “not postable” category, mostly because it’s so obvious she’s naked at the bottom of the photo. The guy who posted the picture I referenced above asked for a ruling ahead of time and the reactions were mixed, but most said they thought it was SFW/within FArQ guidelines. He was shocked (and deeply offended and saddened) to find people making the comments about his entry. It was a very special photo to him, and for it to be treated as something dirty was really hard for him to take. Seeing your Punkin up there made me immediately think of that situation; I know it’s hard to hear suggestions that it could be taken that way, but I think that’s probably better in the long run then actually seeing creepy commentary about it on Fark…

*sigh* It really makes me sad, but I think you’re right that if nothing else I wouldn’t want to hear the creepy comments. I once posted a picture just in a regular thread of one of my kids passed out on the toilet. You could see nothing, but her hand happened to be in her lap in such a way that it made it look like she might be touching herself… and I got the creepy comments there and removed the picture. =(
I found a picture of my younger daughter that has a lot of orange in it, but it’s nowhere near as cute… I’ll post it in a few (got to work with it for a few) to see if y’all think the sick minds will take it wrong too. =(

For those a creepy mindset or it wont matter what it is, they will find a way to twist it.

found yet another “decent” one. and my kid looks totally beautiful in it, so I’ll probably use it. 😉
/not that i can compete with U-Man when it comes to kid pictures… 😛
