Hey all… this weeks contest is clearly a winner… I thought we should have a thread for our “rejects” that didn’t make the contest. Many linked in the contest but a nice place to organize them here would be fantastic!

I am floored by the quality, I thought I did really well going into this but I’m in awe and feeling all noobish again!

I don’t mind starting it off, so I can get upstaged, hah!

Hah… dunno about that… that purple field and the second Sydney pic are going to be on my wallpaper rotation!

Incidentally, is that field a specific location? That looks like all lavender or something, it’s just amazing.

I don’t think the field is anything important, I just saw it on the way to Canberra on the weekend and thought it looked really cool. It is Paterson’s Curse, which is a weed but it has the brightest purple flowers I have seen.
