									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m fairly sure the sweep panorama on the iphone works the same way as it does on Sony cameras, it&#8217;s basically a stitched multi-exposure panorama created in camera, not technically a single exposure the way it would be e.g. on a swing-lens film camera, although the interface seems to do a pretty good job of hiding that fact.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>How easy it would be to get them scanned is going to depend on the format.  120 and 35mm are pretty easy, but if it&#8217;s some other size film holders can be an issue.  A professional lab with a drum scanner can fluid-mount any size film, but that is seriously expensive &#8211; I&#8217;d only do that if you want to make big high quality prints from them.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve only scanned a couple, but if you have a large format film flatbed scanner available that will scan them pretty much like normal film &#8211; the only catch is a 4&#215;5 film scanner will only scan *most* of a half plate negative, not the whole thing (they&#8217;re more like 5&#215;6).</p>

This is something that tends to happen more with older lenses that predate DSLRs &#8211; sensors are more reflective than film, and they weren&#8217;t designed to deal with that.</p>
