After some pondering and polling of family members, I have decided that I would like to remove my INSURANCE barn shot. I have posted an old abandoned car already. Elsinore, can you please delete the barn?

There’s some really nice stuff this week, but I have to say I’m a bit disappointed with the b&w’s. They just don’t say ‘rust’ to me. :o(
(well, maybe one or two do).

I think that’s because of the orange quality we generally associate with rust. When it’s B&W it’s just corrosion.
There are a couple B&W’s that got my vote, but have to say a few others didn’t more because they look over processed (sharpened?) than the fact they’re B&W. I was considering a B&W version of a few of my shots, but none ended up looking ‘rusty’ enough. Over all lots of great entries, and as usual my favorite of my three is currently the lowest ranked.
I don’t know, rust is kinda hard too look good on B&W… just my opinion.
Btw, great entries this week, I got in late, as usual.
Incidently, I ran across this shot while clearing out the archives, which based on my current trend, will take till 30 years after I’m dead, if someone is willing to carry on till then. One of those “Damn!–wish I used it” shots (well, to me, voters might disagree.)
Fortunately, it’s at Rio Salado Park, and I may use it there. Or not. Not normally a fan of high-key in ‘landscape’, but maybe…
