Kestrana
Participantsleeping one of mine isn’t too bad either but then it’s a night shot with fireworks so the visible illumination wasn’t full on for five second either (although the moon is a giant blob in the background)

ParticipantJebus, I was shooting for this at 4pm! Which one do I use? How should I crop it? B/W or color? I literally uploaded to my host at 4:59pm. *phew*. Tough theme.

ParticipantNot feeling anything I have for this. I think I’m sitting out.

ParticipantSo I said to myself, “Self, if you do a light painting shot a small amount of camera movement won’t matter. It will look like the light wiggled.” Then I had to con Mrs. U-Man into painting. She did great.
And this is the last one she did. It was her own inspiration, she didn’t warn me and is one of the many reasons we get along so well.

ParticipantSo how important is it to be certain that it was a 5 second exposure? I have a bunch of stuff like this http://www.flickr.com/photos/guine/6513228795/ that I dont remember the shutter speed for and the computer that has the original with the exif data is on the opposite side of the country from me.

I think it fits the spirit of the theme. Unless someone with more technical expertise than I can determine the exposure time, I say let it ride….

Looks close enough for government work.

ParticipantI may actually have 3 shots that I took today that are looking better than I originally thought now that I am working on them on a computer so I’ll see how they turn out and use them first if they work.

ParticipantHey Elsinore, I missed the votey button on my skeletons. Would you please votify it?

ParticipantI swear on whatever deity you like, my Nick Tahou’s shot is 6 seconds of exposure… I honestly didn’t realize it would be so different from ALL the others…
