Thanks much, Els. She’s sore but otherwise doing great. The surgeon used robotic laparoscopy, so while previously she would’ve been in the hospital for 2 days, instead she was back home less than 6 hours post-surgery. Ain’t modern medicine amazing?!
You’ll see it in half an hour, but one of mine is 4 separate sunsets from the same campsite over 2 years. We’ll see how it does. I had put this one together: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8199/8184304616_4575f86465_h.jpg but I wasn’t happy with it. If I’d had the idea a while ago, I might have done a day/night thing (I though about it as I was shooting yesterday, but just didn’t have time today).
Just couldn’t do it…the frames I had weren’t close enough together. Definitely need to plan better for that next time!

And so on this, my 100th contest, my string of max entries is broken. Without time to shoot new, I could only come up with one entry this week. If Farktographer ever returns, he’ll have something to shoot for now.

Your link is working for me with a minor edit. I don’t know if this was in your original post, but if you remove the space in “Para mount” it works. If the space wasn’t there originally, perhaps it was just a temporary outage.

And very nice, CiliarySpasm–wish I’d thought to do a pano/stitch type set up to get the entire dome in when I was at West Baden. I’d brought a 10mm lens (for a crop body) when I was shooting an event, but even 10mm couldn’t get the entire dome in while laying in the very center on my back.
