3-20-13 – Silhouettes 2: Inanimate Silhouettes

Rav, always nice to bring some fresh work to the party. All three of mine are at least in the last year… then again so are 95% of all of my photos! 😆 Been busy on a few other photography tasks lately so not a lot of new stuff with farktography in mind happening right now. I did try to go with something different than the tree w/ sunset.
It’s a change of pace to have three new-ish photos; all were taken within the past month and two within the past week! For reference, if you recognize my tree-with-benches shot, it’s the same scene, but a more recent picture (yesterday, in fact) as used in “Parks”
I took mine 5 minutes before posting. 😉
Egads! I should have checked the thread before I submitted… I’m so bloody outclasses this week.
This is not a troll for compliments, either… I am thoroughly impressed with every one of the entries and am pretty sure I will end up at the bottom of the voting and deserve it. I like my pics… but I love all yours.
Hey CauseISaidSo: Whenever you get a moment, there are votes in the thread, but it doesn’t look like Bibliostats is picking them up.
Thanks Els, just caught that myself. Does Drew have a guy on staff whose job is exclusively to tweak little non-visual elements on the contest pages? Everything else is apparently the same, but all of the sudden this week someone decided that a bunch of tabs before the vote count string would be nice. 😕

Great contest everyone, and congrats to both Linguine and oddmind. I am pleased with my 4th place on the expensive ass sunset shot (as the shoulder twinges a bit this morning with the cold).

linguine I thought I’d have it in the bag till I saw your shot and then I said “Nah…ain’t gonna happen”. It’s an awesome pic and I’m more than happy with 2nd.
