ParticipantAnybody else doing a 365 project this year? I did it in 2009 and figured I would give it ago again this year.

ParticipantI sort of am trying this. I did not join any flickr group but yeah I have done my best to take and post at least one a day. is joining a group necessary?

ParticipantHrrmmm..I’ll have to look at my recent photos and see if I’ve missed any days yet this year–I don’t think so–maybe I’ll go for this!

ParticipantI haven’t joined any groups this year like I did in 09. This time I am just doing it for myself.

ParticipantI thought about it, but I more or less do it in my own disorganized way. Partially fueled by trying to get something new for each farktography contest 😉

ParticipantI’ve opted to not try the 365 project, though I do like the idea and may do it later. I’m still working on that list of “things” I roped Hubby into making up for me to photograph. So far, only have one, though. It’s not an easy list. What have you noticed about your photography through the project and after?

Participantagh. I meant to think about doing that this year. Maybe next year.

ParticipantI don’t know what it did for my photography, but it did make me think about taking a photo every day. I also like that I can look back at that set and have a record of every day from the year 2009. Thats the coolest thing about it I think.

That, and the fact that you’re becoming the most accomplished photographer in low light conditions that I’ve had the pleasure of encountering….

Trying to shoot something original for each contest is about as close as I can get to this level of commitment, too. I do really enjoy it but I find that it always take more time than I thought it would to setup and execute. Hopefully I can grow to be more efficient as I learn.

That’s what would drive me to it if I ever decided to try it. I really like the idea of having some kind of memento of each day.

I do like the idea though. Maybe by summer I’ll have the time and the gumption to start one. Maybe try for a Summer Solstice to Summer Solstice thing or something.

ParticipantI wasn’t sure I was going to do one, but I think I might anyway. I wasn’t even sure I’d take a picture today, then my younger got cute and tried to snuggle with the dog. So, today I decided to start it. I can link the set if desired, but I started one today. I looked at my folders of pictures and realized I had done daily pictures except for 01/08, 01/09, and 01/11. I’m also putting up my Photography A to Z set, too, and hopefully will add to that. I only have on letter done, so we’ll see how that turns out.

ParticipantThat’s cool! You don’t really have to start at the beginning of the year. I never thought of A-Z photography. That sounds like a cool project too!

http://www.flickr.com/photos/42298203@N04/sets/72157625816375932/So far, only one letter, D, but I’m hoping to get more done as the year goes on. Some of the things that my husband picked out aren’t exactly easy to photograph so I’m more spinning my wheels than anything.
