Photos that are trippy, hypnotizing and zany! Post-processing affects that warp or alter an image’s overall content or color are allowed for this contest only. (Oversaturate good; HDR bad; kaleidoscope effect good; adding or removing Elvis bad.)

Kestrana tripped the light fantastic with this theme!

I’m out of my league here but would like to give it a try. I use Picasa and I’m not sure of the difference between which of the effects are okay and which aren’t.

Heh, for all I sometimes grumble that I would like to be able to use more software in Farktography, I get a contest made for it and use all in-camera work. 😛

Also wik: Ravnostic, what did you use to shoot your eye shot? The detail is amazing!

Not my contest, also, but I think that picture is described right in the theme, Predle.

ennui; that’s taken with my 2Ti and f/1.4 50mm, coupled with the antique Darlot Lens I’ve discussed before, making a very effective macro lens. Thanks! F/14 for what little DOF there is (on a macro scale, quite a bit really), 1/200th second exposure ISO 400 (you can see in the reflection there were small poofy clouds; as they moved, the shutter varied on aperture priority.)

Well, it looks like I pysch’ed myself out and forgot to turn on voting for my Chihuly Glass. If the moderators could please….

My idea for this one was to try refractograph photography but I got tied up with work from TX to MI and now CT. Here’s a video about it and it appears to be simple to set up: http://www.picturecorrect.com/tips/how-to-create-refractograph-abstract-photography/ if anybody is interested in trying it.
