If the photo I posted in the contest isn’t close enough to a traditional fire hydrant, please remove it. AFAIK it’s the equivalent as setup for use in/around a large warehouse.

Obviously… photos of fire hydrants. 🙂

When I first saw the theme I thought “Meh.” But as I looked about town for examples I found multiple settings that were interesting. It got tough to choose 3. Which means that I’m stocked and ready for “Fire Hydrants 2” lol.

I plan on pushing to include fire hydrants as a bonus theme for the local camera club during a monthly meeting next year. It forced me to think beyond point-and-shoot, to envision the image that I was wanting to capture.
