I was poking around on Flickr and ran across this guy who does aerial photography via kite and remote. Seems like this might interest one or two folks here.

It does indeed:

The kite would allow you to launch and then retrieve the camera. You have to trade the adventure of the rocket for the security of getting the camera back safely.

This guy does have some good shots, and his rig is a good bit more advanced than mine. I could learn from this guy…..
