Careful what you wish for…

Just last week I was saying to my cow-orker “I hope things get a little busier so we have more to do. I’m getting tired of the manufactured monkeywork.”
Well, this week I find out that one of our gals is retiring. She runs the downtown hub alone. I get to handle it when she goes. In addition to the other downtown office which two other peeps and I run. Her office is one of some number I won’t say that ties fiber together between the eastern and western US. I’m roundballing about 10Tb/s.
I got my wish.
Dammit.
