Cold Weather Shooting Tips?

A friend of mine just helped his buddy move from Seattle to Anchorage. This was Thanksgiving week I think? Anyhow, he said in the Yukon where it was -45 things just kind of stopped working. Their transmission quit, something happened to the trailer they were towing where I think the brakes just kind of froze up. Be prepared for anything is my advice – and please be safe!
