Canon Eos M w/ 18-55 STM lens for $350.
It would complement my T2i very nicely for stereo photos. Plus it has better movie auto-focus. And a chance for me to reverse engineer lens adapters for everything under the sun.
I’ve yet to see a single review or photographer who likes it. There is a reason they’ve halved their price in less than 12 months.
The reviews from B&H buyers all seemed quite positive. Also, the “pros” would be likely to rip on a Rebel, but I’m fine with it. Having identical sensors would simplify stereo work.
Is there anywhere you could try it in person?
A touch screen that doesn’t articulate out on a tiny camera with no handgrip and a giant lens hanging on. It looks like it was designed for use in a commercial for arthritis cream. But that could just be the old man in me.
