    Hi all,

For a while now, I have been looking into getting an adapter for my Olympus Pen E-PL1. I have a bunch of Canon AE-1 lenses that I would love to play with.

My question is this. On eBay I have seen a variety of adapters for this very purpose. When I click on the links, some say E-P1 only, some say both E-P1 and E-PL1, and some say E-PL1 only. M4/3 is M4/3 is M4/3 correct?

Also, why are these things so VERY cheap on eBay, and so VERY expensie in catalogs like B&H?

While we are on this topic, would Minolta lenses also work on the FD to M4/3 adapter?
    Thanks for the help!

Cheap on Ebay because the ones you get from there are knock off Chinese versions, not the pro ones B&H carries. We bought a Pentax -> Nikon one off ebay that worked for what we needed it for, but the quality is going to be different.

As to the Minoltas working, unless they use the same kind of threads as Canon, you’d need a Minolta adapter I’d guess.

As to the M4/3 universally the same, that I don’t know.
