I’m going to re-take summer and a couple autumn ones but here’s a four seasons set of Devil’s Hopyard State Park and Chapman Falls therein (in HDR):

April 25, 2011 at 2:59 am #35278KestranaParticipantThanks. Obviously in summer last year I didn’t know what I was doing with HDR so this year I should be able to make new ones more in line with the others plus I didn’t take HDR exposures for the Stone Bridge last year.

April 26, 2011 at 10:24 pm #35276ravnosticParticipantCan I see a shot of what the bridge looks like when it’s not HDR’d? Like the two (three?) shots used to compose one of them? I’d like to try HDR, there’s gotta be freeware somewhere out there (can you just layer them and do masking in photoshop?). I tried to take some shots today with HDR in mind. Hopefully I’m on the right track.
April 26, 2011 at 11:37 pm #35275FarktographerParticipantI’m real particular of the winter and autumn HDR’s 🙂
April 26, 2011 at 11:49 pm #35274KestranaParticipantRav – I use photomatix pro to composite the images. Unfortunately it’s more complicated than just making them in Photoshop. You can also use qtfspui (hopefully I spelled that right), I think that’s how chupathingie does his HDR. There’s also a less complicated version, Photomatix Lite you can download a free trial of. It works the same as the program, just adds a watermark to the image. It’s inexpensive, I had purchased it on my own before I met orionid.

I just turn that on, click click click, turn it off. (just dont forget the off part or the rest of your pictures will require a lot of extra processing…)
