Very nice. That place is amazing and I can’t wait to go back. How crowded was it while you were there? I went in December ’04 and while it was pretty chilly, it wasn’t swarming with people.
It wasnt too crowded when I was there, there were always a good number of people around in the main area but it was never hard to get up to the edge and take pictures or anything.
linguine. Your photos are very nice. It looks like you hung out on the South Rim mostly. I never knew one could get some many vantages from there.
I was there 7 years ago or so in May. Backpacked down the South Kaibab Trail, two overnights in Phantom Ranch and then hiked out out on the Bright Angle Trail. I mis-loaded my film and have no photographs of the Phantom Ranch Area. None. Bummer.
