    I recently posted a bunch of HDR photos to http://backingwinds.blogspot.com. Essentially, HDR photos allow one more or less unlimited manipulation of exposure; most importantly, it allows the photographer to have every aspect of the scene more or less perfectly lit. (This isn’t always desireable, which is why you have to go back and put some of the shadows “back in”, but as you’ll see, the effect of what HDR can do can be quite dramatic!)
