I’ll have 720p HD video with my DSLR, please.

and a movie shot with d90’s – http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=HVQX1rC-fRA
Nikon’s site has movie examples but it’s getting hammered HARD.
This is close to Hollywood-level video- for $1299! The nearest competitor quality wise seems to be the $17,000 Red One videocam.
Most HD videocams are using 1/3 sensors; The D90 is using almost the full APS-C sensor in a 16:9 format- and you get to use all your lenses? It’s like dying and going to video heaven!
WANT x 100000
Plus- All the picture control modes are available in the movie modes – so you want to make a black and white art film, go right ahead.
I think this is gonna change a lot of things.

Which is one heck of a camera. Each frame is done in RAW.

Good thing I have no need to shoot video.
I bet the battery life when shooting RAW video is tiny.

Well, as long as you don’t mind manual focus and won’t shoot anything that lasts more than 5 minutes anyway…
I’m gonna design and build a focus puller for the kit lens.

Might be fun to do some highspeed?
Make that 1080p, thank you very much.

Thanks Canon, I knew I could count on you.

21 MP is more MP then I can handle 😀
I want to be able to resolve down to the atomic level with my Kit lens… where is my PetaPixel resolution?
1/200s x-sync speed. I’ll pass
/but only because I can’t afford it
Id love to have a higher sync speed for external flash. 1/200 wasn’t fast enough for some shots I was trying.
