I remember seeing somewhere, probably linked on Fark, of Laptops where the screen was “transparent” or showed what was behind it.
So I decided to play around and see if I could duplicate the effect if not the exact technique.

I had to play around a bit but this is my first approximation. I admit the brightness isnt quite right.

yeah, I’ve seen some of that as well.. certainly a cool technique, if you have something interesting behind your laptop besides the wall. 😀

well I guess I cheated to do this, I took a picture of the Tree with the laptop closed… Then with it open and a Blank screen, in a single color, layered the images and erased the interior of the screen revealing the tree behind…
