Interesting filter testing

That is one hell of a stack of uv filters. It definitely showed a drastic change between the 5 stack of good vs 5 cheap filters. I had a cheap uv filter from walmart and only used it a few times because even the one cheap filter seemed to degrade photo quality a lot. I ended up taking the glass out of it and putting the empty filter ring on my circular polarizer filter to have a bit more ring to grab and turn. I have not noticed any vignetting so it has stayed.
My cheap UV filters are in a box somewhere. I pretty much take the risk of not using them after seeing noticeable degradation.
