And right after I bought my 5D. Any idea of what will come down the pipe as a result of this acquisition?
Not too long after Nikon pulled out of the film business.
Sad, really.
Veruca, if I read it right, KM and Sony will service the cameras. I’d grab some lenses if I were you. That stuff will be going cheap.

I’ve been following some ebay auctions this week and stuff is still being traded pretty well and regularly. Perhaps the closer we get toward the buyout and people start jumping ship? I’m not so worried – I know Sony has some questionable business practices but they also have some good products.
It will be interesting to see how it all pans out.
PS – If you see a 50mm 1.4 going cheap let me know!
