Veruca, congrats! If my father didn’t shoot Canon (we do nature stuff and rent lenses), I would have bought the Minolta. One cool thing about the Minolta is there are some great used lenses CHEAP. Go to Keh.com and take a look. I still think about getting a 5D anyway just to shoot low light with primes and built-in stabilization.

So the camera came laaaate Friday and then I was busy all weekend. Got a chance to play around a bit last night and I’m digging it. Bit of a difference from my Nikon but thinking I just need practce. Thanks again ya’ll for all the input. I love my new camera 😀
