    One of my friends and his son race circle track cars and I thought it would be fun to go try to get some photos of a race. Before sundown it wasn’t too difficult, but when it got dark and the lights came on it was tough. Most all photos were taken at f2.8 with ISO between 1600 and 6400. Also the only place where I could see over the fence was standing all the way at the top of the bleachers in the pits, which wasn’t too stable of a platform. I hope that I don’t have to deal with such difficult conditions too often. Here are a few photos that turned out O.K., nothing stunning though.

    I definitely like the moving shots…low light is good for the motion blur.

    Nicely done all in all. I agree that the motion blur is very nice. The fence really doesn’t detract much from those where it was in the way. Focal length differences help blur it out rather nicely for the most part it seems.
