some basic tips for wedding photography

So my grandmother is getting married this saturday and she just asked me if I would take pictures of the wedding so Im wondering if anyone has any basic tips or tricks for shooting weddings.(preferably tips that dont involve new hardware)

What kind of equipment (lenses, flashes) do you have currently? Indoor or outdoor wedding?

I have a d50(28-80 lense) with me, its outdoor so Im not too worried about lighting, although Ill probably take an old flash along just in case I need to shoot inside.

and I think it should be in the shade so I shouldnt be dealing with really bright light
