    I just downloaded this, it looks like it could be quite useful, it’s basically a Google maps overlay that lets you see sun and moon angles. There’s also a (non free) iphone version.

    I wish there was something like that which would take topo information into account for where I live. There’s a whole big difference between ‘moonrise’ and the moon making it over a 2000′ ridge.
