The front element of my 50mm f/1.8 popped off! Help!

Yeah, seems my 50 got a little too jostled. Anyway, the front came off but everything is intact aside from a little tab that was loose that I super glued down. Is there a way to just pop the sucker back on? How much do you suppose a repair shop would charge?

Looks like a good excuse to upgrade to me 🙂

I just bought the same lens on eBay for $92.00. So I probably wouldn’t spend much to fix it.

I just fixed it with the Russian method.

Lined up the tabs and smacked it. Works fine, sounds weird now. Works though =)
