    Richard Barnes photographs Civil War reenactors on a wet plate camera. Which is cool. He likes to keep the elements of contemporary life in his shots, which is awesome.

    I kept staring at without reading the headline trying to figure why I couldn’t figure out what was wrong in this photo.

    This takes Instagram out in to a field and runs down with a troop of cavalry!

    That is pretty good stuff that he does. My friend does wet plate photography and the process scares me, it is so sensitive to every little detail. Here’s a condensed video he made of making one plate.
