Tip-toeing through the Tulips, delayed

I had a retreat thing get canceled this weekend, leaving me with some non-away time. Mrs Schnee made non-with-me plans and said “get out”. Being Bluebonnet Season here in Central Texas, I hitched up Old Sue (the car) and headed out.

Downside is that I lost my wedding band during the day. Upside is that I lost it within a 5 meter radius of where the 2nd photograph above was made. Downside is that no one in town seems to sell metal detectors. Upside is that the drought will continue until past when I get the detector that I bought online.

Sigh. I think I’ll start entering every contest in arrears from now on. That’s OK, isn’t it Elsinore?
