By the way fellow pyros, mopsy is one of us. While she doesn’t get into burning chemicals or explosions, she’ll definitely go old school with a giant pile of brush.

Speaking of pyros and burning chemistry, here’s a friend’s rocket suffering a CATO (casualty at take-off) due to a blown-out o-ring in the booster section. Sort of like what happened to the Challenger, only much less catostrophic.

Thanks for the heads up. That’s actually the third one that was obviously shorter than 2 seconds. First a 1/10, then 1/100, now 1/1000. This theme should have been the most ridiculously obvious to understand what was required….well, if said theme description was actually read, of course. 🙄
We have a pretty nice battle taking place. I really thought that miller‘s crane would pull away. Love Mopsy‘s clock too. Lots of nice work in there.
We still have two more days of voting and anything can happen, but it’s nice being up there for awhile. I just went back and looked at miller’s crane and realized it really is a crane. I thought you were trying to see a bird by the water but on closer examination, it’s a piece of equipment. Much better than a bird. And I love the bold color in yours bucky. Remember, all three could get knock off the top! I’ve been there before only to be out done. Once by my own son!
Well this is a nice surprise! I voted last night as soon as the contest went live and then wasn’t able to check again until just now. Thanks for the kind words bucky and mopsy! I never mind being beaten by entries that I deigned worthy of a vote, and both of yours got my vote without any hesitation. 🙂

Wow! What a back and forth amount of votes for the first, second and third place. Too bad we did not end up in a three way tie. When I went to bed last night, I thought that is what would happen.

I must have been the second last to vote, because when I put mine in, the Triumvirate were tied on 36. I was quite relieved, because I thought I had left it too late to vote this week.
