Well, I’ve got one in the bag, one to shoot whenever I get home tonight, and a fair number of archive shots…we’ll see…

i like the second one — so going by my vote totals recently you should probably use the first one. 🙂
dude I’ll echo the sentiments for the second shot as well.
I’m leaning towards the second one, but I’m just not sure-which do you guys like better?
I think the first (B&W) is more dramatic, but I’d have to see them at contest size to be sure. The small size to which we’re constrained can really limit shot selection sometimes, IMHO.

That’s been my experience, as well.
Early b’s; I’ll be late posting tonight as I’ll be in training. Most of these are variants on a theme, I like them all in one way or another. One or two might get used in upcoming contests. The last is one of the ‘b’s from “All Night Long” that was also considered for this one.

Since 2sec is a standard exposure, and the next up is generally 3.6(?-workng off memory), I’m cool with 2sec. I intended it to be 2sec or greater anyhow.

Yeah, I’ll make it 2 or more seconds…I don’t think that would mess anyone up, and obviously a number of people (myself included!) just kinda ran with the 2 seconds part 😆
QueenBee, if you right click, go down to properties and then summary, you should be able to find your shutter time. It won’t work after you have sized it for Fark. Go to wherever you have the photo filed.

You should have scanned the back of the print as well. Isn’t that where you keep those notes?

I’m still a little nervous on my decision for the lightning picture. I guess I’ll just have to find another contest to use this b-side in.
