I was really torn on if I should post the helicopter from curves but it seems to be the one getting the most votes for me so far.It was taken with a cheapo camera and is not what my new camera would do.the cannon would probably freeze the rotors in time. (straight like they are supposed to be):)

That is a great example of how better equipment doesn’t necessarily mean better images. And also how better image quality (sharpness, DOF, shutter speed, low noise) doesn’t mean better art.
For you guys who jumped the gun before the Boobies were posted, be sure to re-post. You may need to change wording or something; I think Fark prevents you from reposting an exact duplicate of another post you’ve made.
Yeah. I had to change the file name for the red lips pic. I had posted it too early and it was deleted. Then Fark denied a re-post because it was a ‘duplicate post’. No biggie.

yeah, well… we had some big storms blow through Central TX last night and the Schneeworld Corporate Data Center lost power. Key people are working hard to restore power. The FSM should be back in a bit.
Everyone is fine. Most slept right through it.

Am also glad that I got into this Farktography thing.I really like looking through other peoples eyes so to speak.I hope I am one day as good as most of you at finding and capturing such awesome pictures.

well, it was a terrific photo.
Morningbreath is right. It is a good picture.I’m not going to complain about 23rd place thats for sure.I did better over all (42 votes) but not quite as good as individual pics except the harbor picture.It did way better than the first time around. 😀
Hey I am not complaining! I’m just glad to have done so well.
Not that I wouldn’t love to be right up there at top but hey.. at least Im heading UPward
