IIRC, she wanted it as each persons personal vices, to help mix up the theme a little bit.

Do they have to be current vices or can they be past vices? I’m asking because a lot of my things have gone digital and with no screenshots allowed (perfectly understandable), I planned on using some of the non-digital versions, though I think all of it turns into digital. Example (and I’m probably not the only one to think this, but) video games. Rarely do we buy them in disc any more. Actually, we get most of ours on Steam, so I was thinking about doing a spread of video games (mostly to all Hubby’s because I only recently started gaming), though the spread doesn’t have the names of the games available for the most part, they were hidden or covered (he didn’t want to advertise).
I guess I also have to ask for when is it a vice verses just a hobby?
A carpenter with a problem buying too much equipment would be perfect for this theme. (A vice of buying vices…. /really bad joke)
I took my pictures today and Sunday, and ended up using a different camera to take each entry.
Good questions, clouddancer, and I’m not sure anyone’s going to have a very definitive answer. Wiktionary defines it as a bad habit, the opposite of virtue. Within that definition, there are innumerable things that might be a vice for someone. Now, the theme description does say “your personal vices,” and it sort of implies current vices with the present tense, but someone could probably make an argument for past vices, too.

One of my favorite Vices is currently illegal.And I cant think of a way to enter a pick of my “glass collection” without fark getting bent out of shape. The rest of my current vices are rather boring and and I got rid of all my cigarette specific paraphernalia.

I asked Mrs schnee what my vices were and she said “photography”. I think I may need a bit more introspection.
And I’m not too up on paraphenalia, but lokisbong, aren’t hookahs (and related) legal?
What schnee said. Not sure why pipes/bongs/hookahs (or otherwise) would be an issue. Probably shouldn’t post a picture of you using it with an illegal substance, but otherwise, I’m not sure what the problem would be.
Coolness. Here in california I cannot figure out where they draw the line. I think having been used makes it illegal.
