What a Farktography web site based on Wordpress might look like

Photograph boats: barges, ocean liners, tugboats, and other watercraft capable of carrying people. Difficulty: No bath or pool toys.
THis is another of those times when you are reminded of why you live on the coast. 🙂
Are log rafts considered toys?
I wouldn’t think so, though a plastic raft might be. Quick Silver suggested this one–what say you?
This is the theme that makes me curse for not having the foresight to live on navigable water.
Yeah, but you aren’t too far from various lakes and rivers where boating might occur 😉
woo hooo,
/off to Block Island, and Newport, RI for 10 days.
I guess I define a boat as a floating craft that can carry people and be navigated from point A to point B but I rule out rubber rafts and swimming pool toys and anything else a person cannot ride on. So a substantial log raft should count as a BOAT
So would it be appropriate to refine the difficulty as “No pool or bath toys”? That should cover floats and whatnot.
Yes I guess that would suffice.
What about R/C boats, specifically a 2′ long R/C sailing boat?
Well, can they carry a person? 😉
Ok, so boats that were designed to or are big enough to hold at least one person.
Thanks for the clarification.
I just clarified the description.
Looking through the local paper on thursday for something to do this weekend and saw that this was going on. I got a few shots to use. 🙂
