09-08-10 – The Camera Made Me Do It

We need to have more contests. I have too many pictures.

All the pictures I posted earlier were from Sunday. Everything I’m considering is less than a month old. But I don’t need more contests. I’d probably go (more) insane 😛

i know dead animals are not allowed on fark but how about skeletons? in this case a (mostly clean) deer carcass.

I am planning on all archive shots this week. Going out and shooting specifically for this theme seems kind of like forcing the issue to me. Looking back on my 365 folder from last year I see so many “camera made me do it shots” that I am having trouble picking 3!

I am using one I just shot the other day because I was there and as the theme says the camera made me. I had an older shot with the point and shoot that I liked but I think the new version is much sharper. While I was shooting the picture my friend who runs the business asked me what I was doing so I believe it Really fits the theme. The other 2 are archive shots .

If it’s clean, it’s probably ok. If it’s got chunks of flesh still on it, it might not fly. If you have any doubts, feel free to PM me.

it has a faint trace of residual hair but no meat. basically it’s sun bleached. it will be posted by a friend* and if you don’t think it’s ok smite it. we saw it when visiting lock 1 on the pearl river.

*my friend doesn’t have a farktography account hence me asking.

Mine are going to be from the last month or so, I think, but I might look back to see if there are any exemplary shots from the last year or so. But, none of them were really taken with the contest in mind…just from walking around with the camera.

clouddancer. I think the Turbo Bubbles is definitely in keeping with the contest. The others feel…staged. Just my opinion though.
