Show us your pictures of lions, tigers, or bears.
Thanks for the theme suggestion, RcMacStudent!

And I have at least one entry I didn’t even need to leave the house to get. In other news, bears really like chicken.

About 3 miles west of Boulder, Colorado.
August 28, 2008 at 4:23 am #18554sooshParticipantAh.
We had a thin lopey black bear run across the street in front of us tonight.
August 29, 2008 at 3:00 am #18555justkatParticipantI know Pandas aren’t really bears, but they are often called Panda Bears. I have a cute one, though taken with my older lower res camera. I was JUST at the zoo last weekend, but apparently it was a bear-free zoo lol. The tigers were behaving nicely for viewing, but badly for shooting, since they were hanging out at a window at all the lunch (children) they couldn’t get at. The lion was hiding. =P I suppose I’ll have to get creative, because I don’t think I’ll have a chance to go to another zoo before the contest.
Anyway, will Pandas be off limits?
oooh, likewise koalas?

Pandas are in the Ursidae family, so they are bears. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panda
Koalas are not bears

August 30, 2008 at 1:16 am #18560justkatParticipantstuffed animals are usually okay, from looking at the contests…. and i’m pretty sure that I’ll be using one, since i have a lack of pix in this department…
NoBigDeal and staplermofo y’all cracked me up.
September 6, 2008 at 10:51 pm #18561corsec67ParticipantI went to the Denver Zoo today, and I got a picture that will be perfect for this theme.
It will give Elsinore “Bug Porn” collection a run for the money……
I was wandering around all morning, and the only lens I used was my Tamron 70-300 f/4-5.6.

My input – sure, why not? I’d say that only a few of us have easy access to real ferocious critters.
