ETA: I specifically chose that shot from many because it was neither overtly sentimental or maudlin…it used to be there, now it isn’t.
Yeah I thought it was tasteful and not overtly whoring up the 9/11 aspect.
Thanks for getting my initial messed up post. I’m in a work meeting and couldn’t make a request there for a while. I’m still here but hopefully will be able to get home soon and pick #3.

U-Man, good to see you back. Your Migrant Mother last week was really well done and coincidentally timed for me. I was laid out sick the week before and spent part of that time to catch up on some DVR’d shows, one of which was Ken Burn’s “The Dust Bowl” documentary. (Really interesting if you’re into history.)

B – I officially hate the new posting box. Seriously… WTF was wrong with the old one? How am I supposed to get the HTML ready when it doesn’t accept it? I mean, I already have Neon 2 saved as a .txt file and now I don’t know what the heck I’m doing…

yeah I figured out that there is a “button” on the right side on the top to switch it back to the old style submission box. It says “Use HTML Buttons”. But the new thing confused me enough on my first entry I forgot to enable voting.

As for the posting, I use “raw html” for mine, but then I also just grab the code from Flickr, so it’s already set up. It took me a bit to get used to, but the new posting box has some handy features, too.
