DC-local: National Geo photo exhibits

Is this an ok place for this? I know we have several of us in the DC area, and it’s possible others might be passing through here over the holidays.

The National Geographic Museum (downtown near Farragut N. Metro) is running two concurrent photo exhibits- “Wildlife photographer of the year,” from London Nat’l History Museum and BBC Wildlife mag, also a series of photos of people working at their jobs, from a Nat’l Geo book.

We stumbled on them today, spent a great deal of time on the first, so I will have to go back and see the second in the next few weeks; my son was running out of patience. (I should’ve let him stay in the ‘Bizarre Beasts’ exhibit and shot on ahead. Silly me.) Details on the Nat’l Geo museum link, above.
